Description:
This project was designed to provide a residential environment completely suited to the senior community. It consists of 186 one and two bedroom units in two, three, and four story buildings with a multi-purpose community room and an accompanying two-story office building and vehicle maintenance facility for Housing Authority operations. The majority of the rental units are affordably priced for low-income seniors. All of the units were designed to be wheelchair adaptable to allow tenants to remain in their units in the event they become disabled. The design recognizes security considerations by providing controlled access for both vehicles and pedestrians.
