Description:
A multiple use residential facility, consisting of an 80 unit residence for assisted living, an area for the physically frail elderly, and a separate special care unit for the memory impaired. The project includes a commercial kitchen, laundry, storage, mechanical space, and a receiving area. There are also lounge facilities, dining rooms, staff, and other service areas and amenities. The design goal for the community emphasizes preserving the “Essence of Home” in a park-like residential setting. The entry landscaping consisting of trees and shrubs blends in with the two-story apartment building on the north side, the church across the street, and the single family structure to the south. The parking lot is landscaped with trees and a drop-off zone is located directly in front of the main entrance.
